She writes fun, sweet and simple stories for children. She received her graduate degree in Nuclear Medicine from Manipal University. Then she went ahead to get a MBA degree. But she took a career break after the birth of her daughter. During this time, she got into writing books. She is a doting mother who loves to spend time with her daughter. When not writing, Simmi enjoys reading novels and watching movies.
Simmi began writing her debut series when she was obsessing about finding ways to teach her daughter different aspects of English grammar. She is an educator too and understands a child’s need to be proficient in the English Language, especially in a country like India; where the English language has become the Lingua Franca. Her idea of combining learning with the joy of reading stories is unique and will help children in understanding the language in a much better way. Her stories are not only very relatable with our day to day life, but it teaches good morals and habits and English proverbs. Simmi, through her stories, strongly advocates making a child aware of current world issues.
After publishing books, she started blogging on parenting topics. So, she is a children’s book author as well as parenting blogger now. Being a mother, such topics interests her and she also loves sharing her experiences with fellow parents. She has learnt a lot in her parenting journey and wishes to make life easier for fellow parents through her blogs.
